In the following article, I will explain what Midterms are like for high school students attending Leavitt Area High School. My name is Dominic Haney I am a senior who attends Leavitt, let me tell you about my mid-term experience. Once December hits you know midterms are around the corner.

If you were like me you would procrastinate until the final minutes. This is exactly what you should NOT do. One time it was the night before my chemistry mid-term, and my teacher gave us multiple weeks to complete this review packet. However, I decided to be a rebel and wait for the final moments, this ended with me doing an all-nighter the night before Midterm day. Boy oh boy was this a stressful time, I just passed by the skin of my teeth. However, in the morning, I was miserable, with no sleep I felt like a walking zombie. I would have never been in this situation if I had just taken my time in class for the past two weeks to complete the review.

So to my underclass mates listen to me good and nice and clear do not procrastinate and wait until the final moment even if you are a rebel. Your future self will be very pleased if you teach yourself that your homework is more important than TikTok or those silly video games Midterms are the third week of January 21-24, and the test periods will be longer than other normal periods. If you are feeling nervous don’t hesitate to ask for help when in need. When Students get back from Christmas break students will have approximately three weeks to prepare for their midterms. Some students use these three weeks to either make a Quizlet or find another way to set up a solid way to study for their test but sometimes it gets a bit chaotic with having to study for more than one test, depending on what classes you have if its art you may have to make a project, English you might have to write an essay or even do a project on a book.
