Leavitt Men’s Hockey is known through schools for many reasons. Last season concluded with 15 wins and 3 losses during the regular season. After a tragic loss of 17 graduated seniors, Kings hockey is starting off the season with nervous expectations. Captains Issac Ormberg and Forrest St. Laurent and assistant captains Breck Langevin and Brody Emond are the building blocks of the team, trying to form a strong, tough team that will win them the championship game.  These captains were chosen due to their varsity-level experience and the awareness of the team, in Coach Cyr’s words “I know I am worried about the experience of the team, but I think that our captains are doing a good job learning the team so far and the coaching staff is constantly making adjustments to improve every day.” With all of the drive from the players, the fans get more and more interested in the King’s hockey games. Every game, the stands are being filled more and more. Coach Cyr knows that the team is young and not very experienced but, thus far the team is 2-0 against Gorham Rams and Kennebunk Rams. The Kings look to continue the win streak tomorrow against St. Doms Saints at 6:10 at NSBA.
