We start with the people who made the production happen. We have a few quotes from a few of these important people, and what made this production important to them.

Senior Abby Terreri says “This production is special to me because it involves a lot of the people I love most and it’s been a favorite of mine for a while now. This show is beautiful.”

Sophomore Elizabeth Hussey states, “This production is special to me because it’s one of the only musical productions I’ve been in where I had to take on a big role for myself and delve deeper into the theatrical world and it makes me happy to be apart of the production.”

Junior Mattiellen Lane shares that she was excited to perform with everyone and learn the choreography.

Sophomore Addi Brule says, “It’s so empowering even if you aren’t in the show, it’s the perfect mix of raw emotion and and amazing characters. And it’s about real people, real queens who suffered. It’s truly an amazing show, and the amazing cast and directors make it so much fun to do. I’m honored to be in a show with these lovely guys, gals, and non-binary pals.”

Sophomore Rem Abbott, “What makes this production so special is the fact it’s based on real women and their stories while taking a spin to give them their own, proper endings and voices. However, what makes it even more special is the incredible cast, crew, and our lovely directors – without any of them, this show wouldn’t be what it is, and I’m so honored to be a part of Six: Teen Edition at Leavitt Area High School.”

Senior Kitanna Carey, “I love this musical and the cast really brings it to life and embodies their characters so well.  This is also my first time in the booth so it is a very special production for me.”

Freshman Zo Driscoll, “This is a very special production for me because Six the Musical was the musical that got me into theater.”

Freshman Daphne Cifelli says it is special because all of her best friends are in it.

Freshman Jacob Gagne says that this show is special to him because it’s his 5th production and his second time ever stage managing.

There are so many other amazing people who also made this production happen and let’s see how they made this show special for other people, and what they say about Leavitt’s 2024-2025 musical. Starting with some Leavitt Staff who attended the show. I asked a few people and the first response I received was from Principle Eben Shaw, “I think the show was very well done.  Everything from the set, sound, lighting and the performances were all top notch.  The show had a great deal of energy and was fun to watch.”

Librarian Judith Lashman says, “Six was a great show.  The costuming and sets and casting were all perfect.  I think the actors all did such a great job with the singing and dancing.  Each personality was so well conveyed.  I thoroughly enjoyed the show.”

Mrs. Kelly Bean shares, “I loved “Six”!  I thought maybe since it was about history that it would be boring, but it was fast paces, interesting, funny, sad, and AMAZING!”

Mrs. Marlene Aguilar says, “The play was fantastic. I was amazed at the acting. Parts were very well cast and everyone did a great job. The costumes were amazing also. It was definitely 5 stars!”

Mr. Isaiah Davis says, “I was blown away, it only lasted 70 minutes and at the end you were left wanting more. The talent on stage was phenomenal and it was really displayed due to the outstanding work on the set, and lights. This was definitely one of the best shows I have ever seen at Leavitt.”

And Finally Wade Desrosiers states, “I thought the musical was amazing. All the songs and fun quirks of the musical grabbed my attention and kept me entertained. I found myself dancing to the beat during the songs and each of the wife’s segments had a different feel which was really enjoyable. I’m really excited to see what else the theater department does this year and you know I’ll be there to cheer them on.”
