Mr Cyr is an English teacher at Leavitt area high school. Cyr started teaching in 2022 and has taught at Leavitt for 3 years now. Mr Cyr also attended Leavitt for his high school years and graduated in 2018, then he continued his academic career at Plymouth State University with a major in English education. He graduated from Plymouth in 2022. 

Mr Cyr grew up in Greene, Maine, one of the three towns that make up Leavitt Area High School. While attending Leavitt he played Soccer during the fall, Hockey during the winter and track during the spring. He also spends the spring and summer Golfing and being a bartender at Springbrook Golf Course. During the school year he is a teacher at Leavitt Area High School he teaches English 1, English 2, Creative writing and intro to journalism. While being busy with teaching he also coaches JV Boys soccer during the fall and also coaches Varsity hockey during the winter. Mr Cyr’s pride and joy is his dog Lola. He loves his dog so much and plays with her everyday after school. I hope you enjoyed learning about Mr Cyr.
